Hyundai has been doing a phenomenal job on the styling of their vehicles especially of late, the IONIQ line, their SUV's and my personal favorite the N Vision 74 but, on every single vehicle there is a part that looks very out of place and out of date, their logo.

Introduced in 1990 it was definitely an improvement over what they had, and it fit the style of their vehicles at the time but today the logo not only holds onto the style of the 90s but also no longer fits the style of their vehicles.

Further, because of the brands economical approach when they first introduced themselves to the U.S. (and other countries) combined with well-known automotive journalists being rather negative about the brand through the years it led many individuals to the persisting belief that the Hyundai symbol represents a lack of quality and subsequently safety.

So, a brand refresh, it solves the outdated look and signals to customers that the brand is growing and progressing, it signals that Hyundai is starting a new chapter with improved quality.
